Todd Lituchy has worked in television for 20+ years. His career has spanned major cities across 3 continents. Early in his career, Lituchy had stints at NBC, Lifetime Television, Viacom and Nielsen in New York City. Then he moved to Los Angeles, where he spent 5 years working for Walt Disney Studios in television research. In 1997, he was recruited by UPN’s CEO to run Program Planning & Acquisitions for the network. Lituchy helped build UPN to its highest rated full season ever (2002/03).
In 2003, Lituchy was invited to run Viasat Broadcasting’s entertainment division. Based in London, he oversaw Program Planning, Acquisitions and Commissioning for Viasat’s free and pay TV channels throughout Europe (30 countries). After 5 years, he left to run the creative departments of News Corps’ Asian TV operations. He was named President of Entertainment for STAR TV and he relocated to Hong Kong. STAR operated in 50+ countries and Lituchy was responsible for building profit margins and ratings throughout the group.
Lituchy returned to London in 2009, to start his own media-consulting firm, New Media Vision. NMV provides consulting services in programming, acquisitions, production, formats and distribution. The company works with media corporations including: Discovery Networks International, BBC Worldwide, A&E Networks, Walt Disney Studios, Lionsgate, MTV Networks, Chernin Entertainment, Providence Equity Partners, and a number of production companies globally on strategic and operational challenges and opportunities. Lituchy returned to LA in 2016.
Lituchy served as Executive Producer on The Mysteries of Laura for Warner Bros./NBC (with Greg Berlanti, Aaron Kaplan, McG, and Jeff Rake). The Mysteries of Laura starred Debra Messing and Josh Lucas and was NBC’s most viewed new series of the 2014-15 season. Lituchy also serves as EP on Zoltan the Wolf Man, a production for Discovery Networks International.
In addition, NMV has scripted projects in development with Sony/Freddie Highmore, Lionsgate, and Dakota Pictures. NMV has previously had projects in development with Sony/Carol Mendelsohn (CSI), Electus/Ben Silverman (The Office and Ugly Betty), Gaumont Television, Craig Plestis/ Smart Dog Productions, Mark Burnett, and ABC Studios/Ellen Pompeo (Grey’s Anatomy).
In 2015, NMV was shortlisted as International Production Company of the Year by TBI magazine.
Lituchy has an MBA from Columbia University, with a concentration in TV and Film Management.
