Travis has established a career focused on building the “What’s Next” in the media industry. As an accomplished executive and recognized thought leader in the OTT streaming, he is known for strategic vision and direction in the development and launch of video content and brands that have continually leveraged the new ways people consume content across an increasingly diverse audience population. Passionately curious about the intersection of media, technology, and culture; he provides a unique blend of creativity coupled with a highly analytical, business and financial acumen.
He’s one of the founders of EPIX (a joint venture of Paramount, MGM, Lionsgate) the first Premium Subscription OTT. After successfully raising $258 million, he brought the company to a self-funding position within 14 months of launch, hit profitability within 26 months, grew the company to a $185 million profit by year 7 and delivered $1.7 billion to his venture partners

In 2005 way ahead of its time, Travis created and monetized the largest Internet streaming event in history – NCAA March Madness on Demand for CSTV. Helping CSTV Online become a 240-site ad network and go on to be acquired by CBS Corporation.

Prior he had killer career journey working for the best of the best in linear TV leading creative and marketing efforts at MTV, Nickelodeon, Discovery, and honing his chops as a writer at the Late Show with David Letterman.

He is also the publisher of the “The OTT Daily ” an op/ed on the executives, ideas, and business models driving transformation in over-the-top-television.
