Steven Becker is a senior media executive with 30 years in the sports television broadcast industry having worked at Fox Sports, ESPN, Turner Sports & CNN. Most recently, he has been working with Toldright producing TV-quality virtual events through a cloud-based platform for corporate clients, including an 8-part STEM series for Commonwealth Edison (ComEd).
Previously, Steven spent extensive time overseeing all budgetary and production aspects of live events, studio shows, and original content of Ultimate Fighting Championship & Premier Boxing Champions at FOX Sports. Over the years, he also worked on such shows as Best Damn Sports Show Period, Listen Up! Charles Barkley with Ernie Johnson & Kenny Smith, ESPN Hollywood, SEC Gridiron Live, and Braves & Hawks Live Pregame & Postgame.
Steven has been nominated for multiple Sports Emmy Awards and has won 14 Southeast Regional Emmy Awards for numerous original shows with FOX Sports South.

Oversaw Premier Boxing Champions and Ultimate Fighting Championship live events, studio shows, and original content for FOX Sports—including UFC Tonight and Inside PBC Boxing. Managed multimillion-dollar budgets, hired talent, and supervised a staff of 10+ people as well as a rotating team of freelancers. Created content for FOX Sports digital and social platforms. *Led end-to-end production of nearly 90 original shows, including UFC Fighter’s Cut, In the Clinch, UFC 1 on 1, UFC Training Day. *Created all visual and layout elements of FOX’s first-ever Premier Boxing Champions Pay-Per-View broadcast.

FOX Sports South
Led the production of all studio and original programming for the largest regional sports network in the country—including, Braves Live Pregame & Postgame, Hawks Live Pregame & Postgame, SEC Gridiron LIVE, ACC All Access and original content and season preview shows for all professional and collegiate partners. Responsible for production budget, hiring talent, and overseeing a staff of 25+; including producers, ENG photographers, editors, APs, PAs, and technical crew. *Won 14 Southeast Regional Emmy Awards for numerous original shows, including Under the Lights, In My Own Words, and Spotlight. *Created studio appearance, established formatting, and hired talent for the network’s first-ever interactive show, the award-winning SEC Gridiron Live.

Oversaw post-production of Bonds on Bonds, a weekly half-hour show about Barry Bonds’ chase for the all-time home run record. Served as liaison between ESPN Original Entertainment and Tollin/Robbins Productions. Achieved weekly objectives to consistent satisfaction of both companies, the San Francisco Giants, Major League Baseball, and Barry Bonds.

Directed content determination and shaped format and structure while creating new segments and elements for ESPN Hollywood, a daily 30-minute sports entertainment show. Managed staff of 60+, including talent bookers, producers, editors, graphics operators, post-production coordinators, and stage crew.

FOX Sports Net
Oversaw daily production and made key contributions in creating the format and developing new segments, elements, features, and comedy skits daily. Worked closely with Producers, Talent Bookers, Comedy Writers, and Sales Team on ideas for upcoming shows. Also line-produced shows in studio and on remote. *Nominated for two Emmy Awards for Outstanding Studio Show. *Produced the only Best Damn Sports Show Period that aired on Fox prior to Super Bowl XXXIX.
2002 - 2003
Created and developed the content and look for Listen Up! Charles Barkley with Ernie Johnson & Kenny Smith, a 30-minute issue-oriented entertainment talk show. Managed budget, line-produced and booked guests. Also produced live pre-game, in-game, and post-game updates during Atlanta Braves and Atlanta Thrashers telecasts.

CNN & CNN/SI
Managed a staff of 40+ responsible for all nighttime programming for CNN/SI. Line-produced Sports Tonight, a simulcast show on CNN and CNN/SI, for four years. Created elements and interactive segments, including emails, live web chat, and phone calls. Also produced specialty shows: Inside the NBA, NFL Preview, College Football Preview, and Pro Golf Weekly.
Lead end-to-end production of TV-quality virtual events through cloud-based platform, vMix. Work closely with corporate clients on the development of show formatting, design, content, talent, and production delivery. Partner effectively with remote graphics operators and technical teams on strategic and tactical project delivery. Instrumental to driving the forward-thinking shift from broadcast to online events, conferences, and meetings through the COVID era and beyond. ● Produced an eight-part STEM series for ComEd, which included five HomeLabs with Dr. Kate Biberdorf and three leadership seminars (Hispanic Heritage, Young Women & African American) for high school students in the Chicago area. ● Worked with the Tiger Woods Foundation on producing a VIP Q&A with Tiger Woods and the Pro-Am Pairings Reception for the Tiger Woods Genesis Invitational. ● Managed the production of a virtual fundraising event for The Samfund, a non-profit foundation dedicated to helping young adults financially affected by Cancer—event included interviews, a wine tasting, and taped musical performance by two-time Grammy Award winner Jason Mraz. ● Worked with the National Association of Broadcasters on transforming its annual NAB Show New York conference into a virtual format by producing 12 pre-recorded and two live sessions for online distribution. ● Produced a live NBA Opening Night Watch Party event for employees of Citi, including a 30-minute Pregame Show and second screen experience during the 1st quarter of the Warriors vs. Nets game on TNT.
