I have been creating social media since before it was called social media. Through my production company, Rosey Media, I’ve directed and produced 15 years of compelling content for clients including NBC, ABC, Nickelodeon, Buzzfeed, DDB, and MTV, among many others. I was Director of Photography for over 70 of Saturday Night Live’s Digital Shorts (including such viral hits as Dick in a Box, Mother Lover and MacGruber). I have also created original content and marketing campaigns for brands such as Bed Bath & Beyond, NYU, U.S. Open, Novartis, and Christmas Tree Shops.                                                         In 2015, I worked full-time at Facebook in NYC, helping set up their in-house studio and supporting media partners producing and deploying video on Facebook platforms. I worked closely with advertisers and gained deep experience using Facebook Ads Manger to effectively target and engage audiences. I saw firsthand the power and reach of successful data-informed marketing.                                                                  Since leaving Facebook in 2017, I have worked directly with brands, big and small, developing social media strategies and managing all aspects of production, distribution, ad buying and data tracking. I know the importance of implementing best practices and working fast. I develop social media strategies, work with talent, operations, legal and finance, all on tight deadlines. My approach is creative, but analytics-driven, based on knowledge of paid advertising platforms including Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager and LinkedIn.                                                                                                                                            I am passionate about social media and have seen firsthand how the right content inspires engagement. My time at Saturday Night Live informs my story-based marketing approach, while my time at Facebook informs my data-based distribution strategies. SNL also taught me to thrive under intense deadline pressure and to manage creative stakeholders in a business environment. I am an editor, amateur musician and builder of all things electronic. I love developing anything new and appreciate the need to communicate creative visions effectively. I am looking for opportunities to invent, test and iterate content and marketing that engages people and moves them to act on behalf of my clients.
