Norman Golightly strengthens creative environments by drawing on his business perspective and entrepreneurial spirit. From his economics degree at The Wharton School to the management of Nicolas Cage’s production company and the creation of a digital-first media brand, he is always looking for new ways to inspire and entertain consumers and audiences.

At the heart of Norman’s contribution is his role as a trusted storytelling partner who draws from a broad range of cultural, artistic, media, and social impact influences. He offers a portfolio of projects in development as well as an established network of director, producer, writer, talent, production company, crew, and agency contacts. He has been featured as a speaker and guest at industry events, including the Samsung Summer Discovery Series and Politicon.

Since launching Funny Or Offensive—a digital media company positioned at the intersection of humor and culture, Norman has served as the Head of Content, growing the platform to more than 2 million followers. Most recently, he has grown this brand into development projects for a new series and a podcast. He is also the founder of Golightly Media where he is hired as an independent producer on a wide range of film and series projects.

Previously, he advanced through Director and Vice President roles to become the Executive in Charge of Production and operations lead for Nicolas Cage’s Saturn Films production company. Norman’s leadership was pivotal in growing this startup into a respected and prolific content creator. He led a team that delivered more than 20 features and +$2B at the box office worldwide over 12 years with hits like NATIONAL TREASURE, NATIONAL TREASURE: BOOK OF SECRETS, KNOWING, GHOST RIDER, and THE SORCERER’S APPRENTICE.

The trajectory of Norman’s career began in the Talent Department of Creative Artist Agency. He was then hired by Red Hour Films founder Ben Stiller to lead the development of a slate of feature film projects.

Within the list of Norman’s contributions, there is a special place for content and opportunities that change lives. This includes his work in sourcing and producing projects like LORD OF WAR, WORLD TRADE CENTER, and THE LIFE OF DAVID GALE that tackled topics like terrorism and the death penalty. He also created new revenue streams for an Africa-based nonprofit as the architect of multinational fundraising and fair-trade retail programs still in place after 10 years.
