I most recently worked at VICE Media for four years as VICELAND’s Vice President of Programming Strategy. I joined the company in 2015 to guide the strategic and operational launch of VICELAND in 70 million households in February 2016. My chief responsibility was leading VICELAND’s content rollout strategy and workflow: owning the programming budget and global release schedule of content across the linear network, digital sites and apps, and social publishing. This included having an opinion on original series to greenlight, creating release strategies and editorial campaigns to market and promote to consumers, optimizing deliverable needs and timelines across groups, and collaborating with International and Business Development to expand IP and network distribution. Additionally I founded an Acquisitions team with feature-films and series raising ratings 30%, established the network’s Research department which serviced Programming, Marketing, Social, Publicity, Distribution, and Sales teams with customized reports and analysis, and created and implemented VICE’s first multi-platform strategy with 300+ hours of original content annually.
