About mary.agnes

July 12, 2020 I am the creative leader that CNE is looking for.   A true left brain/right brain combo with proven success in development and production across a variety of genres, I am primed to take Bon Appétit and Epicurious to the next level. I know how to drive innovative video content at an iconic food brand.   Vice brought me in to Showrun a genre-busting new food series that fuses cooking with international newsdoc. As Executive Producer of TV and Video at America’s Test Kitchen, I built a world-class multi-platform video studio that continually delivered on business goals and dropped brand-expanding original series across a strategic mix of channels generating ad revenue, affiliate revenue, and driving awareness, engagement, e-commerce, subscriptions and sponsorships. As a seasoned EP, I have full command of the entire production process.    I excel at building highly collaborative machines and then shepherding creative and logistical visions through them. To me, the vibe on the team is everything.  The people on my team are excited to work hard because I make sure they feel valued, respected, and supported in the pursuit of their goals.  With clear directives, everyone unites on the mission and feels motivated to contribute…which makes the end product that much stronger. I came up through unscripted TV development…and, really, I’m a development person to my core.  With a rubix-cubing, solution-riffing mindset, I thrive when faced with unique challenges and get energized by juggling multiple projects of all shapes and sizes.  From documentary, science and instructional, to news, makeover and comedy, my experience working across a wide variety of genres primes me to propel CNE’s programming in whatever direction strategy dictates. Go on, give me a chance to impress you.   Best, Mary Agnes marylagnes@gmail.com 617.835.8728
