About leegero

Hello- I'm an experienced storyteller who has spent 25 years in the television production industry. My diverse skill set and the content I've produced is a reflection of my life interests. After interning in sports at a local NBC affiliate in Cincinnati, I worked at ESPN for five years. In 1999, I began my first foray into freelancing, which lasted until 2006, when I landed a staff Senior Producer/Showrunner gig working for Howard Stern's tv arm, Howard TV on Demand. In the fall of 2013, I jumped back into the freelance world, where I have been ever since. In addition to sports and comedy, I've produced content in many other genres: music, pop culture, reality, docuseries, competition shows and more. I currently specialize as a Supervising Story Producer - a role I've executed for some of the biggest production companies and networks around. I love storytelling and creating content with people. I know how to manage large teams of PAs, APs, Producers and Editors - and I hope that my experience can continue to allow me to diversify to even more storytelling platforms like podcasting and digital content, for example! Thanks for reading! Lee

I’ve been in television production for 25 years and have produced content in a wide variety of genres. I’ve spent five years working for ESPN, almost eight years working for the television arm of the Howard Stern Show and as a long-time freelancer, have supervised series for some of the biggest production companies and networks around.

My experience reflects what interests me in life: sports, music, comedy, pop culture, documentaries/docuseries and more. I consider myself a jack of all trades, having a strong background not just in supervising post production teams of editors and producers, but also in field producing/directing, studio production and writing.

One area of production I would love to jump into would be podcast production. I am also efficient on Avid, FCP and Premiere.
