Kathleen A. Murphy Kathleen Murphy brings 16 years of on-camera and executive producing experience for national networks to her work in development, customer-facing c-suite positions and content/event creation, media training, business development and strategic partnerships.  She has interviewed and hosted for ESPN, USA Network, ABC Television, Oxygen Network, Lifetime Television, The Football Network, Madison Square Garden Network, Fox Sports, Discovery Network, Outdoor Life Network, Versus, The Weather Channel, WBIS, Wall Street Journal Television, and piloted several network television shows (CNN, CNBC, ABC News, others) and radio programs (Sirius, SiriusXM).   Her business experience includes working directly with Jay Walker (founder of Priceline), Michael Loeb (CEO, Loeb Enterprises), Steve Case (Revolution) and other CEOs in roles as director of strategic partnerships, business development and growth. Most recently she acquired, negotiated and managed a strategic partnership with Dow Jones/The Wall Street Journal, creating The Wall Street Journal Business Travel Service, serving 40M+ customers, for Upside Travel.   Kathleen specializes in live, unscripted environments. She hosted live with Regis Philbin, hosted her own daily 3-hour live show on USA Network, was the book reviewer/contributor for ABC’s Good Morning America, conducted live interviews and features for the Tour de France and the US Open tennis championships and was the only media consultant for the A.S. Monaco football club in Monte Carlo. Her firm Murphy Media Partners counts as clients her late night show for USA Network, the international media project “Africa 10” with will.i.am and the Black Eyed Peas, David Rockefeller Jr., Senator Larry Pressler, Wunderman, Y&R, Facebook, Dow Jones and the Wall Street Journal for a series of 12 interviews with CEOs and international athletes, and others. As Senior Vice President, Director of Marketing for Revolution LLC’s Revolution Places she managed all public relations and media, and worked with Philippe Cousteau, Steve Case, Andre and Stefanie Agassi, Tom Doak and all principals, reporting directly to the Board of Directors. As Partner and COO of Glasgow Music she helmed all aspects of this well-funded music publishing startup.   Kathleen has extensive experience both on air, and as a participant in many sports shows.  She was the sole host for Lifetime Television for all of their sporting events, hosted live and monthly programs for Madison Square Garden for 9 years, hosted fly fishing, outdoor network, skiing, winter sports festivals and golf for ESPN and was one of two sole anchors for college and Canadian football for The Football Network.   Her live and unscripted ease in front of the camera brought her successful stints as host of a two-hour block of daily programming for USA Network - “USA Live” set in a working café with live audience and call-in interaction; slots on ABC’s World News Now and Good Morning America, and as one of 3 hosts for Oxygen Networks daily 2-hour live show “Pure Oxygen,” among others.  She is the host, executive producer and creator of the podcast and interview series “Life All In” – interviews with people leading vibrant and engaged second halves of their lives.   Kathleen began her career in publishing as a graduate of the Radcliffe Publishing Procedures course and is an accomplished writer and editor. As Managing Editor of British American Publishing with Simon & Schuster, she published several works for hire (her own original ideas), discovered bestselling author Harlan Coben (publishing and editing his first two books), and published the hardcover editions of George Plimpton's The Paris Review authors. She also acquired, edited and published a National Book Award Nominee and Penn Faulkner Nominee - one of the best 5 works of fiction of the year.   Murphy's career has taken her all over the world – she traveled daily with the Tour de France through the French countryside, lived in the canopy of the rain forest of Costa Rica, explored witchcraft and politics in Cuba, fly-fished the rivers of Montana and lived on a boat in Alaska king salmon waters, adopting a dog sledding team. Her co-hosting with Regis Philbin garnered her the New York Post’s vote as the co-host to replace Kathie Lee Gifford.   Kathleen Murphy is an Amherst College graduate and has a graduate degree from Harvard University, Radcliffe College. She is a two-time New York City Marathon finisher and has read to the blind as a volunteer for fifteen years. She serves on several advisory boards and is the first female President, Board of Directors for the West 73rd Street Tenants Association.
