Most recently, I was the Operations Manager/Program Director/Content Director/Imaging Director and Afternoon Personality at Alpha Canton, where I oversaw 2 multi-million dollar stations (Hot AC MIX 941 and NEWS/TALK 1480 WHBC) I supervised a staff of 18 including Air Talent, PD's, Promotions and Marketing, New Media, Engineering and Production.  Prior to WHBC, I ran the crosstown CHR station W.D.J.Q. for 10 years.

    Operations Manager

    As the Operations Manager and Program Director for two multi-million dollar heritage Alpha Media stations (WHBC AM/FM) in Canton Ohio, I was responsible for increasing ratings, growing audience on-air and online for both unique brands. I also consider myself a Talent Coach, Image Creator, Content Developer, On-Air Entertainer for MIX 94.1. Overseeing all departments including Programming, Marketing & Promotions and Engineering. Reported directly to the General Manager. Experiences include: Identified, developed, coached, and managed the on-air talent with the support of the Senior Vice President of Programming. Analyzed ratings and market research to grow the audience base, identified market risks and opportunities in order to improve ratings. Monitored and analyzed competition and developed strategies to outperform competitors. Worked with Promotion Directors and Digital Managers to drive audience engagement and build the station brands across broadcast, digital, and live entertainment. Worked with on-air talent to ensure they invest in original content for the digital platforms. Supported the Market Manager by leading the day-to-day management of station programming including, managing productivity, cost, technology, and production capabilities, and protecting the station from FCC infringements of on-air conduct. Provided leadership and oversight for direct reports, including guidance and identifying development opportunities. Drove results through my teams and held them accountable to business metrics and expectations, as well as ensuring they supported market sales efforts.

    PROGRAM DIRECTOR/MUSIC DIRECTOR/MIDDAYS at WSSR STAR 95.7 in Tampa from 9/97-7/02 (iHeartRadio). Responsibilities included creating daily music logs, providing 10-3 on air content, developed professional relationships with record companies. Organized yearly rock concert called Starfest with A list talent.

    Program Director

    Launched KBKS in 96, flipped the 3rd Country station in the market Top 40. Responsible for launching new format including: developing station logo, marketing strategies, TV campaign, replacement of entire staff, supervised perceptual studies, focus group projects and auditorium tests. Arbitron ratings increased from 2.6 to 7.6 for 3rd place in one year. Hired, trained, and supervised on-air, production and promotion staff. Used Selector and Master Control systems integrated with RCS for automated off peak day parts.
