As Vice President of Culinary I ran a team of culinary producers and freelancers that were responsible for the culinary content, integrity and stories for all of their linear and digital business. Due to the unique positioning of this role within the Food Network structure, I was able to gain extensive experience in so many aspects of the food media industry that would be invaluable to the role of Editorial Director at ChefSteps. I worked within and alongside our programming department on development of linear creative as well as overall brand strategy. I was a part of the team that launched the FNK app. I have also spearheaded cookbooks, launched a magazine, overseen a 1000 plus SKU product line, worked together with Creative Services on branded content, and worked with our integrations team on highly successful and seamless integrations. I have developed and trained talent, both in front of the camera and behind, and ramped up digital presence over all major platforms. As the leader of a large staff of permanent and freelance production teams and having spent countless hours on set, I know the stresses and pressures these teams face. I have deep experience working with on-camera talent, from top tier names to internally developed staff digital talent. I am used to having up to 30 plus different projects running concurrently. I am adept at both creating and managing budgets of all sizes. Production work can be hard and long, but it should also be fun. I feel so lucky to have been in this food production world for my whole career. I truly love culinary production and making food media. I will bring my extensive industry and culinary knowledge and enthusiasm to the ChefSteps team. Since my time at Food Network, I have consulted with networks like Oprah Winfrey Network and Netflix as well as individual talent to help them bring their own food stories to life. I am excited to do the same for ChefSteps. Your content is exciting, current, technique-driven and aimed at passionate cooks.  I am also a huge fan of Breville and would be excited to work with a company so clearly food focused. While at Food Network, I used your products on some of our most prestigious shows, like Iron Chef America, and I continue to use them in my home today (I am seriously in love with my Breville coffee maker and 3-in-1 Combi Microwave.)
