About jennifer.stotts

In nearly 20 years of events and marketing, I’ve learned that adaptability is a fundamental tool to navigate the ever-changing landscape of corporate life. It is how a person responds to challenges and opportunities that determines their success and resiliency in the workplace. The challenges of 2020 forced more change than we would have liked and challenged me to redefine event delivery and success. I had to quickly become an expert in virtual events, procure a platform to support our products and pivot event agendas and marketing campaigns to reach a redefined market. By taking a step back, reconnecting with our audience and understanding their goals in a new world, my team built virtual events that suited the market and continued to meet the sales and editorial goals, increasing registration by 300% in 18 months. Learning to manage change, becoming resilient or event learning to work in an office environment are talents that do not always come naturally. They are practical skills that should be taught from an early age and are, at best, glossed over in a university career services seminar. Most of us have had to learn to cope with stress at work, difficult conversations with a manager or managing work-life balance on our own and it is inspiring to see that Chegg has built a resource hub to guide students at the beginning of their careers. I am excited for the opportunity to bring my 15+ years of experience in event management, content creation and customer engagement marketing to this role. I appreciate your consideration for the position and look forward to speaking to you about this opportunity. Sincerely, Jennifer Stotts
