About JeanetteM

Hi there! I’m an experienced producer and project manager who has supervised the development and production of hundreds of digital and short-form videos and other media projects for major media brands. I’ve managed creative, staffing, scheduling, pitch processes, and relationships with a range of clients and producing partners– from small independent filmmakers to major distribution platforms.
As Supervising Producer at Atlas Obscura I developed and managed internal editorial video processes, and also supervised dozens of other external producers and facilitated the pitch process. This included development work on podcasts and large scale television projects. At any given time I probably had 10+ projects going at once. In addition to ongoing one-off projects and big development deals, I also managed the production of multiple ongoing web-series, including Object of Intrigue, Infrequently Asked Questions, and Show and Tell. While working at A+E Networks, I managed the creative and production process for dozens of mini documentaries, animations, social campaigns, and explainer videos for the History and Biography brands about everything from women magicians to the great recession. I also developed and produced a primetime micro-series for History called History Shorts, which still airs new episodes weekly.
