Summary

Mixed Reality Producer, Jalina Stewart spent over a decade working in the music industry, creating unique brand exposure opportunities on a variety of entertainment platforms, including webisodes and a digital reality docu-series for WSJ.com, as well as broadcast commercials and music videos for leading artists, including Prince, Sting, Bon Jovi, Snoop Dogg, Pharrell, and Mariah Carey. She also produced a 20-minute prequel for the iconic Fast and the Furious franchise and launched the SK Energy commercial campaign starting with a spoof of the Hangover, followed by additional campaigns with Deepak Chopra and Joan Rivers.

Six years ago, she transitioned into the VR space, working with 360-film and VR platforms that provided viewers access to premium interactive video content. She produced and created unique immersive video and tech platform app features. Joining the emerging tech group Navteca in 2016, she worked as part of the team to combine data visualization with 360 camera footage to tell climate and science stories which were presented at SXSWEco.

In 2018, Jalina joined the team at VRAccelerator, a new division of leading multimedia photography studio Pier59 Studios, to develop and build the first volumetric video capture studio in NYC, which was completed after a two-year build in March 2020. Future plans for VRAccelerator include solutions for virtual fashion in the evolving advertising landscape.

Daughter of a U.S. Diplomat, Jalina traveled internationally from an early age and developed strong negotiating and people management skills. Today, she uses these abilities to bring innovative people together to form effective teams. She holds a B.A from Columbia University in Political Science. She enjoys exploring technologies to build cross-cultural bridges.
