About Stephen Hodges

Stephen Hodges, Development Executive and Polymathic Unicorn. Media has entered  a new era in content creation and distribution while changing the way people tell and consume stories.  Because of this, there is the need for a new type of executive. Enter the unicorn.  This magical beast understands it’s not just about finding stories, but having the knowledge and insight to craft HOW the story is created using both the right and left sides of its brain. This unicorn’s qualifications include the following:  Experience in script/story writing, physical and technical production, brand creation, marketing, sales, management, budgeting and forecasting, collaboration and above all, evangelism for amazing content. Development isn’t just about signing with the big names. Development is having a stable of people and projects at all levels of the entertainment spectrum. It’s the intersectionality of various niches that will lead to the development of larger audiences. Since the future is all about having  your favorite show in your pocket, this unicorn sees the opportunity in developing content from different points of view. It’s not just about diverse stories, it can LITERALLY be anything from camera placement to  the ability to “play” your favorite character in a show while choosing different outcomes to the story.  Interactive experiences are this unicorn's mandate. Enchanted companies demand a magical development executive. This unicorn is a passionate story teller, an entrepreneur, and an experienced polymath in all the practical arts of the business.   With proper care and feeding, this mythical creature will think not just in terms of boxes, but in the terms of entire worlds. I look forward to building worlds for you. Sincerely, Stephen Hodges
